What is KMUPIM for Shopify?
KMUPIM is a Shopify-native asset, PIM and release platform for e-commerce brands and agencies in the DACH region. Product images, product data, approvals and scheduled releases run in one system, synchronized with your Shopify catalog. No more tool sprawl of DAM, PIM, approval and release tools.
Built for the Shopify catalog.
Two-Way Catalog Sync
Pull and push via the Shopify GraphQL Admin API. Shopify-sourced rows remain identifiable, webhooks keep your catalog up to date.
Variant-accurate images
Each variant gets the right image. Pin, OG image, Shopify product and thumb derivatives are generated from a single master.
Scheduled Publish
Releases are dedicated objects with a launch date. The publish job writes product data and images back to Shopify on schedule. No bulk-edit on launch morning.
Four steps, one flow.
Pull
Pull products and variants from Shopify or upload images via drag-and-drop.
Produce
Generate cutouts and derivatives in the AI studio. Your brand DNA stays the guardrail.
Approve
Approvers decide inline. The readiness rollup shows which product is still blocked.
Publish
Scheduled Publish writes back to Shopify on the launch date. With a complete audit log.
Plan the launch like an album.
A release in KMUPIM is its own object. Not an Excel column and not a Slack channel. You plan, review and ship it as a single coherent process.

Frequently asked questions about Shopify.
-
How does KMUPIM connect to Shopify?
Via the Shopify GraphQL Admin API. KMUPIM pulls products and variants, webhooks keep changes up to date, and releases push back to your store automatically on the launch date.
-
Are variants and metafields supported?
Yes. Products, variants, metafields and metaobjects are mapped with variant accuracy. Images, rights and approvals are attached to the correct variant, not just the product.
-
What is Scheduled Publish?
Releases are dedicated objects with a launch date. The publish job checks due releases and automatically writes product data and images back to Shopify on schedule. Lock semantics prevent double publishing.
-
Do I need Shopify Plus?
No. KMUPIM works with standard Shopify stores via the Admin API. Plans start at a single Shopify store.
